--about Phoenix Wright

Phoenix Wright is a defense attorney in the world of Gyakuten Saiban. He's easy going, aloof, and a loyal friend. He takes his job seriously and will do anything to defend his clients to prove them innocent. He has a nice circle of friends including Larry Butz who he was friends with prior to the games and manga, Mia Fey his late mentor, Maya Fey, Mia's younger sister and possibly the closest person to Nick because she is somewhat like his side kick. Pearl Fey is Maya's younger cousin and somewhat looks up to Phoenix. He's goofy in a lot of ways but that's just his way of being himself.

Name Origins: In English, "Phoenix" comes as a reference to his uncanny ability to turn around cases which were almost lost (as the phoenix comes back from the dead). "Wright" is simply a pun ("Is that right, Mr. Wright?"). In Japanese, "Naruhodou" comes from the Japanese word "naruhodo," which means, "I see" or "Is that so?" Ryuuichi is simply a name the creator liked (though its use of the kanji for dragon is played upon in GS3). Taken from court-records.net

I started building this site only a few days ago (wow almost due lol). I got into the Phoenix Wright fandom pretty late (GS3 was already out) but I played through the games 1-2 and loved them. However I didn't see Phoenix's face much apart from when he was on the defense stand. I wanted to see more of his personality! I knew there was a manga somewhere so I hopped onto court-records.net and downloaded the mangas they had there and I once again fell in love with how adorable Phoenix is, especially his face! ^^ I love him in the manga and I hope that once it comes out in the states, everyone will like him just as much as in the game!

About the title: As we all know, Phoenix has the gift of turning the cases he handles into his own favor (much to his surprise sometimes!) and I always thought of him as an aloof sort of hero. So I chose the name Turnabout Hero (and because OBJECTION! is so overused xD). I like the name!
